But the Slovenian, who is breaking all the cycling records, is not satisfied, which is why with his team (the UAE Emirates) he has designed a special bike, namely the Colnago Y1RS, a prototype bicycle that is causing a stir on social networks and that will surely help him continue to reign in the pedal sport.
Pogacar's new bike: features and cost
The first special feature is the CC.Y1 handlebar, which has a characteristic Y profile, a shape widely used in the world of aeronautics and engines. The horizontal bars are raised and create a "gull wing" shape that minimizes turbulence in the frontal area. The aim is to minimize air resistance and optimize aerodynamic flow in all wind conditions. This handlebar also attempts to improve stability at high speeds, without compromising rigidity, making it ideal for more powerful cyclists. In short, a new "weapon" available to Pogacar, which can also be purchased on the market: the cost is around 10 thousand euros and to buy it you need to join a special waiting list.
